Nice track, doesn't strike me as very trad Japanese though, which is what I would have expected. I assume that available samples may have something to do with that . But still, its a great sounding orchestral piece. I still think you should go for trad Japanese instruments though.

This sound matches the nostalgic feeling that the return of the land at war site gives me.

I like it there's a lot of feeling and energy that can be felt. It conveys a whole mood. I always imagined the soundtrack for tatsumaki sounding a little more like the Shogun: Total War soundtrack though. Don't get me wrong though, this is a beautiful score!
